Rates and Shipping

The Spanish Bank of Algae offer services to companies, research institutions and Technology development centers, in order to facilitate the implementation of initiatives and projects essentially related with industry & research on microalgae and cyanobacteria.

Price of services (not including shipping costs)

* The price includes “the product” and the shipping costs. It does not include local taxes in the country of delivery.
One of the copies of the Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) signed by a BEA representative will be sent together with the samples. You will automatically receive your invoice by email.

** Before depositing a vialitity test must be done.

Shipping charges

Shipments are made from the BEA laboratories to the final destination. The company in charge of our shipments is DHL. The rates applied will be calculated in real time by the sales application. These rates include delivery to the final destination indicated on the order form, insurance and airport taxes at the departure airport. They do not include local customs fees or local taxes applicable at destination (outside the Canary Islands).
In the event that the order is to be shipped within the Canary Islands, taxes and customs will already be included at the time of payment.

Import permits

Shipments to certain countries must include an import permit to ensure that the shipment is not confiscated in transit. If this is your case, the official permit must be prepared by the buyer and sent to us via email to info@marinebiotechnology.org or by FAX at +34 928 132 830.

Local restrictions

The buyer will be responsible for the management of any local restrictions existing in the country of destination regarding the material shipped.
